Advisory Regarding Product Quality

Gateway is a software product under active development and is in its relatively early stage. We may have advanced the versioning too fast compared to typical approaches. This is in part due to the fact that the work is inspired by previous works on similar WordPress plugins. The founder of Gateway has always taken an interest in field systems and working with dynamic data.

Potential consumers of Gateway should be aware that there are known issues. Some of these are details in the inline docs contained with the plugin itself at /docs. These range from cosmetic issues to security issues. We are working to resolve these issues in a timely manner.

It is our goal as a company to provide accurate assessments of our software products and to work diligently towards reasonable levels of product quality.

The next release of Gateway will contain an appropriate flag to indicate it’s relative readiness as an alpha or beta version, or whether it is deemed production ready. The version numbering will remain in place and from this point forward will be incremented at a slower pace.
